As the holiday season quickly approaches, you may be considering new tech purchases for you and your loved ones. Before you toss out the old, we must share with you one of BC’s best-kept tech secrets – the BC Technology for Learning Society. This innovative, registered charity collects donated computers (and all types of tech devices), hires youth to refurbish the equipment and the society completes the circle by distributing gear to schools, non-profits, libraries, First Nations groups and students. Since 1994, over 180,000 computers have been diverted from the landfill and have been refurbished and reused.

Currently, the BC Technology for Learning Society requires laptops, desktops, computers, and mice. Perhaps you can help?

Imagine – a BC where everyone has equal access to technology and the tools to facilitate learning.

Used Technology. New Possibilities.
