Happy Birthday, Chrome

Have you always dreamed of a makeover for your birthday? Well, Chrome just celebrated its’ 10th year, and to mark the occasion Google officially announced a whole new look for the world’s most used web browser. Don’t worry; you will still recognize Chrome as Chrome. However, you may notice speedier browsing, a few design changes, and a sleek, modern look!

Chrome Turns 10

Interested in more than rounded corners and animations? Rest assured; there are a few features that may be of interest to you:

  • Password Manager – the updated password manager, will automatically generate complex and unique passwords for you

  • Updated Omnibox/Search Bar - enables users to search tabs you currently have open and coming soon the ability to search your Google Drive

  • Improved Autofill Forms

  • Shortcuts – readily change the background of your new tab page and create and manage shortcuts on the page
